I show you how to import data from Hadoop, MySQL, Netezza, Oracle, Postgres, SAP and SQL Server into Einstein Discovery through the Datasets import screen. We also revisit importing .csv data sets. I introduce you to a couple of other websites that provide good data sets which you can query and download for your own use in Einstein Discovery.
A couple of datasets that I use are related to Crime Data for a city, as well as programming and rating data for Netflix programming. We import these data sets into Salesforce Einstein Discovery.
I finish out this lecture by demonstrating how to connect to a MySQL database in Salesforce Einstein Discovery and grab the contents of a table from it. I also find that the datasets have a minimum limit of 1000 rows.
In this lecture I demonstrate how to rename a dataset. I also show how to delete datasets in Einstein Discovery. We also cover how to change data types of fields in datasets. I demonstrate how to delete fields in a dataset and apply changes as well as renaming columns.
In this introductory lecture, I run through what we will be covering in this particular section of the course related to creating stories in Einstein Discovery.
