Module Assignment
You may need to create additional Profiles and Roles in your org before you can assign them to the new users you are creating.
Create one custom Representative profile and base it off of the Sales Manager profile – so you will be making just one profile – Representative and you will need to assign that to all 6 Representative Users – Dave & Debbie Marketing, Dan & Donna Sales, and Deanna & Dante Service.
For the new Roles in the Role Hierarchy, create 3 new Roles:
Marketing Rep – Reports to the Marketing Manager Role
Sales Rep – Reports to the Sales Manager Role
Service Rep – Reports to the Service Manager Role
For this module Assignment, create the remaining users and assign them to their corresponding Profiles and Roles, using the Data Loader. You can try and assign them various different license types and make them active as you add them via the Data Loader or you can add them via the Data Loader and make them Inactive, if you elect to give them a Salesforce license.
You can optionally create the users manually via the Interface, one at a time, by deactivating a user in order to free up a license to then add manually.
Stretch Assignment
Adding the users via the Data Loader would be considered a stretch goal for experienced Bootcampers.
