In this lesson, I walk you through how to create a Dashboard in Salesforce. Salesforce Dashboards are a visual representation of an underlying source report.
A Salesforce Dashboard consists of one or many Dashboard Components. Depending on the underlying report format, each Dashboard Component can come in various forms. All Dashboard Components are available whenever the underlying source report is a Matrix Report. You will find less options for Dashboard Components whenever the underlying source report is a Summary Report. You will find even less options for available Dashboard Components whenever the underlying source report is a Tabular report format.
In this lesson, we add a chart to a Joined Report. Once we have done this, we will be able to add that chart to a dashboard, using the Joined Report as the underlying source report.
In this lesson, I run through the process of making multiple changes to a dashboard.
In this lesson, I subscribe to a dashboard. You can subscribe to a dashboard and set the interval for the dashboard to be refreshed and delivered. You can send the Dashboard update via email to yourself and/or others.
