This lecture covers the concept of Public Groups and how Sharing Settings (aka Sharing Rules) can be set to Public Groups. We cover who can be assigned to Public Groups, such as specific users, roles, or roles and subordinates.
The lecture also covers teams, which in Salesforce are Account Teams, Opportunity Teams (for Team Selling) and Case Teams (for Case Team Management). We demo how adding a user to an opportunity team can grant them view and edit abilities that they normally wouldn't have.
